Combined Passover Seder

Good Friday Celebration

Spring Equinox Marking Rejuvenation of all Life

Ramadan Reading from Bapak Talks @ 8:00 pm

Friday, April 7, 2023

6:00 pm sharp the ceremony begins

Portland Subud House, 3185 NE Regents Drive

Hosted by Fayra Teeters and Leana McClellan

Please call Fayra @ 503-254-5104 or email:  fteeters@outlook.com  to RSVP

We need a headcount of how many Passover scripts to printout and how much ceremonial food to prepare.

Fayra has cut the 3-hour Seder Service down to 30 minutes, including references to Jesus’ Last Supper being the first night of Passover. Key prayers spoken and sung in Hebrew.

This is an organized dinner, not a typical Subud potluck. The following foods will be provided by Fayra & Leana:

All of the foods needed for the ceremony:  matzoh, parsley, horseradish, charoset, alcohol-free wine, Roasted chicken, Israeli styled rice pilaf, Mediterranean styled chickpeas with vegetables, Vegetable tzimmes

Feel free to bring a dish, but please avoid the following:  Bread, crackers, croutons, cookies, cake, pie – anything that has yeast & rises when baked, pork, bacon, shrimp, crab, lobster (bottom-feeders)

Kosher & Catholic friendly dish suggestions:  vegetable salads, fruit salads, regular fish, poultry, fruit & nuts compote, flourless cake, macaroons.
