Thanks to all Subud Members who helped make the Silent Auction at Menucha last November a great success. We are well on our way to raising the seed money that Subud Portland needs to put out another big Matching Fund for Susila Dharma USA in 2024. The Silent Auction at Menucha succeeded well beyond our expectations, generating a bit over $2,000 for our Matching Fund. To top it off, Subud Seattle delighted us by deciding to add their cash donation to Subud USA this year of $1,200 to our seed money pot, bringing our total to $3,200 plus, with some extra personal pledges on the way. Although we have a way to go, we are excited about our progress this year and anticipate that our Match will again be able to provide a big chunk of the money needed by SD USA to fund its grant requests for next year.
We want to extend our deepest thanks to all Subud Members who brought items for the sale and to all who made purchases, as well as a very special thank-you to Subud Seattle for joining forces with us on the Match. Thank you for helping us create positive change in the world and in individual daily lives. We are truly grateful for your partnership in the union of generosity, goodness and grace that is Susila Dharma. Let’s move forward to complete our goal of $5,000 this year with the energy and the enthusiasm that produces the amazing results of Susila Dharma’s work in the world!
