The PNW Regional Congress will be held on Sunday, June 30 as part of the National Gathering in Portland June 27-July 1, 2024.
Any member who is interested in the position of Regional Chairperson or Vice Chairperson should pre-test with their local Helpers if it is correct to put their name forward for testing at the Regional Congress June 30th. Any member who is not part a local group can pre-test with the Regional Helpers at the Congress.
If you are willing to test for these positions, the regional helpers ask that you pretest with your local helpers one or both of these question(s),
– “Is it right for (name) to put his/her name forward to be tested at the congress for the position of (chair or vice chair – depending on position ) for the coming term?”
– Some candidates may wish to test, “How will it be for (name’s) family if she/he becomes (name of position)?”
Any candidate who can not pretest will be able to do so with the regional helpers before testing before the general membership.
Candidates will test with the regional helpers before the members prior to any voting. Regional Treasurer and Secretary may be appointed by the new Regional Chair and Vice Chair.
