Spring Equinox – Passover Seder – Good Friday/Easter – Ramadan Celebration and Potluck Feast

Portland Subud House

The ceremony is a thorough blending of the celebration that takes place at this time of year over Rebirth and Resurrection – with equal time given to the four basic religions: Jewish, Christian, Islam, and Pagan.
We will be singing, chanting prayers, noticing how the four faiths interface and blend from one to the other. The ceremony will last about an hour. Then we feast!
This year the only food restrictions will be PORK and Shellfish.

I’ll be providing non-alcoholic wine, Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice, ceremonial foods: matzoh, horseradish, parsley, salt water, and charoset (blended fruit & nuts), and a vegetable tsimmes.
