At our August 26th meeting, the Regional Helpers approved increased financial aid for applicants hoping to attend Seabeck this year.  Thanks to some generous donations, we can offer assistance of up to $130.00 per applicant, as well as a $55 stipend if the applicant would like to volunteer in some capacity (we have jobs, both small and large!). We hope more members of all ages will be able to attend with this increased assistance!

Elderberry Assistance
by Marlena Knill

The Elderberry Project is a Subud USA affiliate project that supports elder members aged 75 and older (also known as Pioneers) to help stay connected to the Subud community. The program can do reimbursement (rather than paying up front) for transportation costs. For more information, visit the project website here.

I know there’s been a lot of Seabeck talk coming at you the past few months, but it really will be a nourishing place for us all to come together, something we all need during these trying times! If you’re on the fence about registering and have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me anytime at either seabeck@subudpnw.org or by phone (my favorite form of communication): (360) 265-2000. We really hope you can join us!!
