This year again, Subud Portland will kick o8 its fundraising for the Susila Dharma USA Matching Fund with a Silent Auction at the Subud USA Gathering in Portland from July 2 – 5. We need your help in continuing this vitally important SD tradition.
Your first step will be to start searching through your house with an eye for objects to donate. Imagine how your unused or used-yet-still-good stu8 will miraculously transform itself into cash and ripple into our Susila Dharma projects as school supplies in Mexico, organic vegetable seeds in India, cows for kids in Zimbabwe, and so much more. Our silent auctions have had good success in the past with a wide variety of items – kitchenware, décor and art pieces, jewelry and other accessories, small furniture and appliances, you name it! (Due to logistics, we must limit clothing items to special pieces.)
The next step will be bidding on the items at the auction and extending your generosity to the wider world, uplifting the lives of families and children as the projects receive their grants and do their work.
