In order to bring our SPNW Bylaws up to date with how doing business in the world is in today’s world, melding in person meetings/gatherings with zoom meetings/gatherings,
your regional board of directors is proposing a modification to our current bylaws.
We are asking that you vote to approve, or not, the following to be adopted into our bylaws.
This is how our bylaws currently read, section IV Regional Congress:
“At the discretion of the board of directors, the annual meeting held on odd numbered years may be either a Regional Congress or a non-business gathering.”
This is with the additional explanation:
“At the discretion of the board of directors, the annual meeting held on odd numbered years may be either a Regional Congress or a non-business gathering.”
This meeting may either be held in person at a location designated by the regional committee or online. In the case of an online meeting the technology used must allow for interaction from the attendees and have the ability to share documents and to be recorded.
Please respond with a yes or no response no later than 6:00pm on Friday, April 15, 2022.
